Fun With Single Guy

So, Christmas night Jen, Rick, Denise and I are sitting in the living room watching TV. We have turned off all the lights and have the drapes open because it has started to snow, and we wanted to watch it.
Sometime during the evening, Single Guy returns home from his Christmas festivities. It is getting late, and several inches of snow have accumlated on his driveway. He makes an attempt at getting up it, and falls short. He backs out and drives away. Pretty soon, here he comes again. He has driven around the block and it ready for another go at it. He gets this far up the driveway, parks, and goes in to the house not to be seen again until Saturday afternoon.

Saturday afternoon he comes out and spends a few minutes shoveling the base of the driveway with his snow shovel and then disappears.

He returns with a square-nosed shovel. Apparently the snow shovel was way too heavy. We surmised this by watching him throw 2 or 3 shovel fulls and then stopping to rest, and shake his head.

Notice that he is piling his shoveled show behind the other car that has been sitting in his driveway, unmoved, since sometime in the summer.

He has finally removed the snow that the snowplough pushed up, from the corner of his driveway to about the middle of the car he is shoveling out. Apparently, this is sufficient for his needs.

He starts the car, and then brushes the snow off, and it looks like he is ready to roll.

He climbs in and cranks his wheels so that he can
back out of the slot he has shoveled off.

He gets out on to the road where he can pick up some traction, and darned if he didn't come cruising right up the drive, park in the carport and disappear back in to the house.

Ya gotta love single guy!

Single guy could be an international man of mystery. Maybe he has a time portal in his basement! You never know, don't blow his cover!!

It's about time we got some kind of post from the Johnson/Tilley side of the family. I was hoping for some more pictures of the Christmas FAMILY parties and Christmas morning, but I guess I will be satisfied with 'single guy' trying to make it up his driveway.

It sounds like you guys had a busy weekend, so hopefully you can get some rest...and then POST some more Christmas pictures.
