Thought I would do a quick update on The Beaver's job situation.
Right now it looks like he will take a spot back on the line fixing airplanes. He has applied for another position and will hope that comes through before he has to go back to turning wrenches, but it is nice to know that option is available. He will lose a little bit of money no matter what, but will have a job.
The Tech Docs job that he had interviewed for apparently got offered to someone else, and according to HR they were too far along with that process to back up and let Rick have it. I find that kind of stinky as it was offered to Rick while he was out of town and he asked to have a sit down once he got back. That never happened. Oh well, moving along.

It sounds like a real class outfit that offers a job to one person and then without any follow-up offers it to another. I'll keep my fingers crossed for him.
So now when our U.S Airways or American West flight gets delayed...Rick may be directly responsible. Should I post his phone number on here so everyone who has a problem with the airline can call him?
Also, was that position in Pittsburgh or back in HOTville?
Oh this place is high class for sure. It's a matter of eat or be eaten.
It will definitely NOT be Richard's fault if there is a delay. He is someone who get's the job done. Not like some of those other meat heads who think it is funny to put a plane out of service.
Only post his number if you say "for a good time, call...". ;-}
The lost position was here in the hellishly hot desert location where no one goes outside.
I know whatever Rick ends up doing, he will do it meticulously! Atleast you know that no matter what there will be a job. Love you!
